Named after the acting great, Anthony Tyler Quinn has stacked up a steady stream of TV performances over the last 20 years, bringing his athletic good looks to comedies and dramas. Quinn's first major credit was in the 1990 Fox TV series "Working Girl," based on the 1988 Melanie Griffith vehicle of the same name and starring a then unknown Sandra Bullock in the lead role. In 1994 he began a recurring role in the ABC series "Boy Meets World," playing Jonathan Turner, the English teacher of the show's lead character, played by Ben Savage. Quinn's sole leading role was as star of the 1998 Fox series "Ask Harriet" which, borrowing its premise from the film classic "Tootsie," featured a man who loses his job at a daily paper only to rejoin the staff posing as a woman. The show was produced by former teen idol David Cassidy and lasted 13 episodes before cancellation. Quinn turns up regularly on television, appearing in single episodes of "Diagnosis: Murder," CBS's "Cold Case," and "House M.D." In 2009 he acted in the feature film "Silent Venom," a thriller involving a killer snake and starring Tom Berenger and Luke Perry.
